The Knoxville Chapter would love to get to know you!
Welcome to the Knoxville Chapter IAAP website. We are currently looking for professionals who take their careers seriously and want validation of their skills. We meet on the third Monday of every month (exception: we meet on the fourth Monday in January). Our meetings are educational and most of them will earn you 1 re-certification point when you attend. You will meet other professionals who utilize their membership to help train themselves in leadership roles, people who are looking to network with the top administrative professionals in the Knoxville area, and people who want to further their education through certification to obtain a more substantial position. I hope you will find everything you are looking for easily.
The theme for 2008-2009 is inspired by the Olympics with the tag line "Get in the Game!" The idea is that membership in a professional association is only as good as you make it. The more you "Get in the Game," the more you gain. I'm asking everyone to make the most of their membership this year by attending the meetings, working on committees, attending leadership training and more. There's lots to do to promote our profession to our employers, the community, and the world.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the International Association of Administrative Professionals.
Trudy Baker CPS/CAP
